After a virtual exchange concludes, many organizations wonder how they can keep program alumni in touch with each other and the organization, keep them engaged in the organization’s work, and provide them with more global engagement and learning opportunities. Waidehi Gokhale, CEO of Soliya, and Jennifer Chen, Program Officer at World Learning, will join the Stevens Initiative for a webinar exploring different pathways for virtual exchange alumni engagement. As part of its Connect Program, Soliya has developed a robust participant-to-facilitator pipeline, training its program participants to be effective facilitators in its intercultural dialogue sessions. World Learning has designed several activities and opportunities for its Digital Young Leaders Exchange Program (DYLEP) alumni, including reunions, community projects, and referrals to in-person exchange programs.
