This workshop focuses on facilitating virtual exchange and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses offered in English or Japanese. The training consists of four live sessions (two hours each) as well as on-demand training modules, each focusing on a different theme. Participants will learn about COIL project design, virtual team facilitation, common challenges and how to address them, facilitating intercultural learning, facilitating interactive and engaging communication online, and methods for evaluation. Participants receive certificates and/or digital badges.
